About this qualification

This specialisation covers the fitting, handling and servicing of earthmoving, mining and off-the-road tyres and rim assemblies. Suitable for trainees working in mining, civil construction and heavy earthmoving equipment maintenance.

Mining and civil construction drive consistent demand for qualified OTR tyre technicians. This is one of the highest-earning entry-level automotive trade pathways.
