AUR31020 Certificate III in Automotive Sales (Parts Interpreting)
The Certificate III in Automotive Sales is designed to prepare new employees or recognise and develop existing workers who are performing general sales and marketing functions in an automotive retail, service or repair business.
The Certificate III in Automotive Sales (Parts Interpreter) qualification is made up of 20 units:
Core: 14 Units
Elective: 6 Units
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. However, at MECHANIST, we assess a potential leaners’ capability through our Pre-Training Review process which includes an assessment of your Language Literacy and Numeracy skills.
There are no limitations to entry based on age, gender, social or educational background. However, as the course requires physical activity, students should be aware that they will need to be physically capable of completing the course activities, such as being able to stand for long periods of time.

Further training pathways from this qualification include Certificate IV in Automotive Management or other relevant qualifications.

We blend your learning and assessment between attending workshops in our campus and structured training in the workplace. We take what you’re already good at and make you even better.
This nationally recognised qualification can take between two to three years to complete but may be completed earlier within our flexible learning environment.
“On Campus (Non-Apprenticeship) delivery enables you to gain a full qualification. Learners will be required to attend structured Workshop Sessions at MECHANIST Campus. A Learner can choose to engage either full-time or part-time to complete the course in this delivery mode.
Structured Work Placement is an essential part of a Non-Apprenticeship. A minimum of 10 weeks Structured Work Placement is required to obtain your qualification.”
